Overview
From Paula Curtis Collection[1]: An online project to transcribe and translate the Kojiki 古事記 (“Records of Ancient Matters”), a c. 8th cen text related to Japan’s history, origins, myths, genealogies, and more. The website is in Japanese, but the English version of the text is accessible and includes annotations about specific terms and people in the original. Users can line up the original side by side with transcriptions and translations.
